The Fringe Arts Festival is returning to Philadelphia for its 19th year, beginning September 3rd and running through September 19th. Each Fall, the Fringe Arts holds its Festival to showcase a plethora of progressive arts including theater, dance, spoken word, poetry, music, comedy, and many performances in between. The Fringe Arts is dedicated to challenging convention and stretching the mind.
During the 16 days in September that make up the Fringe Festival, there will be 600 opportunities to see performances and shows put on by Fringe Arts. According to www.uwishunu.com, there could be as many as 80 shows happening in one day!
